Stein Photography in 2012

We have a few changes coming in the New Year for Stein Photography and its clients.

In the past, we’ve required a minimum of 1 hour for a photo session for a rate of $100 per hour. While this rate will be remaining the same, we will no longer require a minimum of 1 hour. We are now able to serve anywhere in Frederick County or Winchester for a session minimum of 30 minutes/$50. The other areas we serve (Clarke, Warren, and Shenandoah counties will still require a minimum of 1 hour/$100).

We have always included a CD of photos with each session. Starting in 2012, this will no longer be included in the session fee, but will still be available for a very low rate of $20 per disc. Each disc comes with a custom-printed label and includes all images from your session in both full-res color and black and white versions, as well as images resized for faster uploading to e-mail or photo sharing websites. With your disc, you receive all rights to the images to print or use for personal use and images will not be watermarked.

We will still be offering previews from your session on our Facebook page. We pride ourselves in being to able to provide fast previews for our clients (we are usually able to provide some images within 24 hours). Facebook provides us with an easy, quick way to communicate with clients and we really enjoy the interaction and feedback we receive through there.

After receiving some feedback on prints of our photos from places like Costco, Walmart, etc., we are aware that the quality of printing in locations like these leaves a lot to be desired. We will now be setting up online, password-protected galleries for all sessions. The online gallery will provide an easy way to place an order for high quality prints. Using professional printers and software with Kodak Endura professional paper, we now offer photographic prints in a variety of sizes from wallets to 30×40 and larger. Prints will be available for purchase as a package deal (for more savings), or a la carte.

In addition to prints, we are also able to offer a wide variety of items like gallery wraps, float wraps, standout mounts, albums, boutique cards, postcards, business cards, stickers, magnets, posters, and more! We’re very excited about being able to offer prints and items like this and can’t wait to share the amazing quality with our clients. As always, we’re happy to modify session fees and inclusions for larger groups or longer sessions. If you have a moms group, church group, family reunion, etc., please contact us for a custom quote for your group.

Printing Options Now Available

We are excited to announce that we now offer professional photo printing. If you have had a recent session with us and would like to order prints, please let us know. After we upload your images to our ordering system, we will provide you with a special password for access to your photos. You and anybody you share it with to will be able to view/order your photos. This is a great way to share your session with family and friends. See our printing page for all printing options available.

Christmas Parade in Winchester, Virginia

For the last several years, we have taken our kids to the Christmas Parade in downtown Winchester. The kids like to watch the firetrucks and listen to the bands as they march by. But this pales in comparison to the joy and excitement they feel when they see Santa Claus coming down the street. We all had a great time watching the parade this year. It was a great start to this Christmas Season. Merry Christmas everyone!
